How has your summer been? I ask only because my summer is officially over and has been for about two weeks. I gauge that on school starting back here and also my return to the studio after a much needed break.

I have a lot of exciting new things to share! The painting above, which was my last "Hot Off the Easel" piece, has a title. "Together We Will Ascend". Please go and "Like" it and share it and even buy it if you wish!

My website has new features that I am VERY excited about! When you visit my Artwork Collections and open a piece to look at it, you can now "Like" or "Send" it to share it. I would appreciate all the love you can give. This helps me monitor which style is most popular and also see how many of you are actually getting to see my artwork.

Do I have new artwork and jewelry in the works you may ask? Of course I do! I am working on a new mixed media jewelry collection. These pieces are hand painted with added metals, paper, beads, stones, and much more! I think they are some of my favorite treasures yet. If you are following me then you have gotten a preview already!

New visions means new paintings as well! I am being guided to use my gifts to create a new series. I have been working on this series for the past 2 years. There are sketches and plans and even a name. I will reveal it only when I feel the time is right. Please pray for me to create and use my gifts as God wants me too.

Hot Off the Easel: This Gift I've Been Given

New painting just finished tonight!

Untitled (for now) 30"x30" Acrylic on Canvas

I see a horse charging into the light carrying two figures. The figure at the front stretches their arms out reaching and praising for glory. The second figure stares out in amazement and awe at the beauty ahead. I also see a large face or figure at the left of the piece which I view as creator, God, who guides these prayer warriors to him. Forgiveness, salvation, peace and light. Heaven.

These "Life Visions" I have been given amaze even me. I am guided to place the paint onto the canvas almost blindly. I don't know how I know, but I just know when I'm done. Then I step back and weep at what I have been given. What a gift indeed! Thanks to God who has taken over this body.

Hot Off the Easel for March 2012

Spring has sprung early this year! Unbelievably where I live, the trees have already bloomed and grown leaves. The flowers are growing almost as rapidly as the grass. The pollen count is over-the-top bringing with it those wonderful seasonal allergies . . . Ah-chew!

I have been in the studio working hard to get ready for this glorious season. My paintings are pollen free so no need for sneezes . . . just sunny breezes!

Holiday Orders and Commissions Update

Let the shopping begin! Now that we have given thanks and eaten our turkey (for those who celebrate Thanksgiving), it is now time to think about all those special people in our lives that we want to shower with Christmas gifts! I LOVE this time of year. Not only do I celebrate our savior being born, but it is the time of year that my wonderful fans, family and friends, help me spread my art all over the world! She is done on a shatterproof copper bulb with a beautiful organza wired ribbon and accented with a faux leather textured ribbon trimmed in chenille. She is signed on the back with daisies.
